Thanksgiving is in a couple of days, but if you’re still thinking of a simple way to bring a bit of decor to your table, this eucalyptus idea is as minimal and elegant as it can get. I call this table setting pinterest inspired, because I never really considered dressing the table until pinterest came around. I always go for eucalyptus, because it’sCONTINUE READING
Although the season of autumn had a calendar date of Thursday, September 22, it seemed it was a bit at war with summer, who felt it was the more superior child. So instead of switching out my wardrobe for those long desired cozy sweaters and boots, I waited rather impatiently. I watched as the leaves transformed into a golden hue, withCONTINUE READING
Simple is best, right? Many times I like taking this approach when it comes to DIY projects. This time of year is by far my favorite time of year. I love the concept of bringing deep greenery into the home. Although I could have plants, they never seem to survive, but during Christmas time, I know I can count on a fragrant tree that will last until it’s time to take it down.
Each year I tend to purchase new Christmas decorations or ornaments, but this year I decided to opt out of it, other than the traditional purchase of one new family ornament. Instead, I’ve been incorporating pine branches into our home…on the dining table, over the TV, on mirrors and antlers, in vases, and over our bed. Below areCONTINUE READING
